Megarama is a leading self-funded and profitable developer of free to play mobile slots games since 2015.

As ASO Manager, your role will be to maximize our organic traffic and to complement the work of our User Acquisition team.

Megarama Games was founded in 2015 as the brainchild of two entrepreneurs in the mobile space. This is the second startup for the founders, one a former medical doctor turned entrepreneur and the other a world-leading cybersecurity expert. The mission of Megarama Games is to create fun and innovative world-class slots games that players will fall in love with. Megarama owns a portfolio of slots games, with Slots WOW™ being one of the most well-known. Megarama’s games have been downloaded millions of times across Apple and Google Play and the games are commonly within the top charts in their categories in the major markets (United States and Australia).

While the founders are based in Tel Aviv, the company is fully remote, with team members spread across Europe and Asia. 

 

About the job:

You will have full responsibility for managing App Store Optimization across our portfolio of slots games on both Google Play and the Apple App Store.

The position is full time and with a long term horizon and ideally meant for someone comfortable with remote work. You must be very independent and self-motivated.

 

Responsibilities

  • You have overall responsibility for the App Store Optimization of our portfolio of games across the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.
  • Optimization of App Icons, Screenshots, App Preview Videos and App Descriptions in order to maximize conversion of organic installers, by either working with third party testing services (iOS) or Google Play Store Listing Experiments; this includes localization of store listings to multiple languages.
  • Optimize App Titles, Keyword Fields (iOS) and Descriptions (Google Play) to maximize keyword indexation.
  • Work with Creative Team to create and optimize app store assets.
  • Work with Product Manager to highlight issues related to retention compared to peers.
  • Work with Developers to highlight issues related to Android Vitals.
  • Work with the User Acquisition team to complement paid user acquisition activity with ASO.
  • Set up a process for handling and optimizing reviews.
  • Run Apple Search Ads Campaigns.
  • Set up and maintain App Store Optimization strategy and guidelines
  • Report ASO results and achievements regularly to business owners

Requirements

  • Previous experience of at least 1+ years in similar role.
  • Experience running ASO on both Google Play and iOS is a must.
  • Solid understanding of ASO analytics.
  • Ideally you have experience doing ASO for games.

  • Organic conversion rate from Store Listing to Install.
  • Organic traffic and uplift compared to previous corresponding period.
